APPEARANCE: Looked like champagne when first poured. It's crisp, clean and very light with bubbles all over. Lacing was non existent and not much head.

SMELL: Plenty of grape aromas with a pleasant hint of green apple. Oddly, there was also a bit of what smelled like slightly overcooked pork.

TASTE: Starts out a bit metallic and not terribly sour, but the wild yeast kicks in the middle of the sip and provides a more tart, apple flavor towards the end.

MOUTHFEEL: Effervescent is the best word for this beer. Bright, lively and full of sparkle. It is nice and dry as well.

OVERALL: This was a very pleasant beer overall. It really tasted like a sour, bubbly chardonnay.

Thanks to MinorThreat for the bottle

Pours cloudy gold with a thin white head that fades immediately. Lots of bubbles.

Aroma is good musty brett along with heavy vinous notes and some oak.

Sour lemon/barnyard funk up front. Tannic qualities and finishes with a heap of oak and lots of white wine.

Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Not as fizzy as the initial appearance would indicate.

Almost more like a wine than a beer. The musty brett is a bit too much for me, but still good overall.

Bottle courtesy of fortsambo. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a light golden color with a thin white head and a bit of lacing. The nose has some white grapes along with some chardonnay and a bit of oak. Mild earthiness. Flavor is a bit sour and tart with chardonnay dryness and some oak through the finish. Light tannins and a hint of alcohol. Light acidity. Interesting, but not quite integrated.
