A post finals celebration beer.
Poured from bottle into standard Pilsner glass.
A- The pour appears to be very clear, much like a weak lemonade. Once settled into the glass the beer takes on an opaque yellow hue, that's really quite unique. A moderate head dissipates over a bit of time, but still thinly veils the top of the glass.
S- Pretty typical smell for a Belgian style Wheat. I detect a bit of citrus, also possibly some banana. Very faint clove presence.
T- Very enjoyable. Although I'm generally not a big fan of Belgians, this is a rare exception. The cloves are nearly unnoticeable. The citrus is very light, the banana taste comes off smooth and hits just on the finish, and there may also be flavours of apple that are very slight.
M- Smooth. The carbonation is very light, just enough to notice.
D- Excellent. The beer could use a bit more flavour, but its an excellent summer brew.
This beer is very well composed. Its light flavour and body make it a great summer, outside, hangin out by the pool or latenight fire beer. I'd reccomend it.
