Appearance: Quite hazy yellowish brown in color, with a paper-thin off-white head, and fine lacing to coat the glass walls. Fat bubbles cling to the glass walls, and there are ample quantities of sediment that rise and fall in the carbonation streams.
Aroma: Sweet, vaguely honey-like notes with strong coriander and clove notes.
Taste: Opens mildly sweet, with a slight spiciness. As the taste progresses, there is a backdrop of herbal bitterness, which gradually rises towards the end of the taste. Finishes with a mild, lingering herbal hop note.
Mouth feel: Soft and relatively full, pleasant.
Drinkability/notes: Not a bad example, certainly not the equal of the best Belgian whites, but then again, who could expect it to be?
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce brown glass bottle with a twist-off crown, served in a standard pint tap glass.
Serving type: bottle
