Poured from bottle to a weizen glass. Julian date code partially wiped out on bottle.
A: Cloudy straw in color with little carbonation. Nice sediment and a frothy white head that sticks around throughout and leaves little lacing.
S: Very inviting aroma with coriander taking charge. Orange peel and wheat are also in force with a tad bit of yeastiness. Not as yeasty in the nose as other witbiers.
T: Coriander, white pepper, and a touch of orange throughout with a clean finish. These flavors outweigh any wheat or yeast flavors.
M: Light bodied with a very prickly sensation at the finish from the carbonation and pepper. Dries the mouth too much.
O: I enjoy the flavor profile and nose of this beer, but the carbonation and spice goes a bit too far in drying out the tongue for my taste.
