12oz brown bottle. Very hazy pale straw colored beer, with a large bubbled foamy white head, lace and some stick to the glass.

Musty hay fresh yeast aroma, with splashes of orange peel and soft coriander spice.

Thin-bodied, but even, and quite light on the palate with scrubbing quick flash of tight carbonation. Light short-lived citric hop bitterness. Dirty yeast / pear-skin feel follows. More soft spices of coriander smoothed into the light malt sweetness, with hints of apple and orange, and an herbal backing. Dry-ish yeasty finish.

A fairly decent stab at the style. Seems a bit dumbed down, but it’s still enjoyable and worth a try.

12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip at approximately 45 degrees F.

A: Pours a cloudy pale straw yellow, and forms a thin white head that fades quickly to a ring. Decent, if spotty, lacing.

S: Fruit esters, so many of them, swirl out of the glass. Apple, pear, banana, melon, wreathed about some pale wheatiness and a touch of spice.

T: Tart and then sweet, the flavor palate opens with a surge of citrus, which yields way to a pear-melon combination. Coriander and a herbaceous tinge color the entire tasting, growing stronger as it moves along, until the finish is primarily those flavors.

M: Light bodied, but just heavy enough to feel like a decent beer.

O: Not an overdone, overblown reach, but a more subtle approach to the style. What hop presence is there does not overpower and command everything for me, the way many more hop-prevalent beers do. J'approuve.

Pours a slightly hazy light straw color. Active looking carbonation. Virtually no head, however, there are some splotches of lace in the middle. Aroma is quite fruity; like apples. Taste is sweet; the prevalent tastes are apple and spice. It is a very clean feel. Light bodied. Carbonation tickles the tongue. Crisp and refreshing and a slightly dry finish. A delightful beer which I enjoyed.

Like blue moon but bored with it? This is blue moon with a boost! More flavorful, more orange and coriander, definitely a solid beer choice if you are a fan of blue moon
