The place has bee around for 8-years, I was told. I've been visiting Savannah for the last two-plus and this is the first I have seen of this brewery...
...I didn't know what I was missing. Located outside of Downtown Savannah proper, this warehouse-style brewery has one of those axe throwing party places as a neighbor. The brewery itself is not that impressive to behold - They have a decent sized bar sitting smack dab in the middle of their warehouse brewery, but it works.
The beer selection is very good and the beers themselves range across the usual suspect of offerings. No complaints. If you want to grab a brew outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Savannah, this is your place.

Loved the vibes in this small Savannah brewery. The tour guide was great, the facility was quaint but had great vibes... the beer quality and selection was excellent. Any style from chili beers to light golden ales was available, as well as a good variety of cans and bottles to-go. I hope to see these guys go places.

The first thing you notice upon walking into Southbound's taproom is the impressive mural. Vibrant colors paint scenes of music and celebration. The brewhouse and cellar are viewed easily from the bar. A variety of styles were available and service was quick and courteous. Staff was knowledgeable on beer selections and made excellent recommendations.

High praise for this young and upcoming brand of craft beers. Servers and staff were very well informed about brewing, their equipment, and the story behind their brewery. Recommend stopping by if you're in the Savannah area.

Fun place to drop in. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take the tour. Enjoyed 5 different samples of beer including one from the nitro tap. Nice folks, good price, standard bar. I'd like get some of their coffee stout to my home. Most of the beer was good

"Enter as strangers, leave as friends" -Unknown
The brewery is located just west of the Historic District of downtown Savannah, Georgia on Bay Street. Look for the Great Dane statue and directly across the street you will see the grain silo emblazoned with the hop-head Kokopellis. Park around back of the warehouse.
Entering the building you will most likely first notice the great music. The near life-long friends have a passion for music, especially live music. If you are lucky enough to find yourself there on a Saturday, then you will be treated to a live show. Check out the breweries website for the schedule of upcoming shows.
Tour days are Wednesday through Friday from 5:30-7:30PM and Saturday from 2-4PM. Per the state of Georgia rules $10 will get you a souvenir glass and 6 tickets for tastings of quality beers. The tours of the facility are about 30 minutes. That will leave you with enough time to sit at the reclaimed wood bar, meet some new friends, and experience the welcoming and openness of the staff. Also, throw a few cornhole bags while you throw back some tasty beers.
They just put a nitro tap in at the bar area, so look for some creative products to come in the near future.
