Finally reviewing this Justin and Adam delight. Live review. This beer is poetry.

It pours turbidly, the color of peach-tinged straw. A quick view of a two finger white cap all I saw.

That sour funky citrus that Berliner lovers crave, with peach so dreamy luscious it could put me in my grave.

Refreshing, tart the start of flavors bold yet smooth and clean, then peach a sweet reach to it starts the fueling funk machine. Some real hormonal in there never seeming too extreme, it ends just dry enough to make a fruit and sour dream.

Ah, but in the mouth, light and refreshing bright zest, the citrus clean and sour/ sweet in a wheaty finish

makes this a super refreshing beer with just the right amount of Peach. Love this beer, go get some.

Bottle purchased at Half Time Beverages in Poughkeepsie, New York, and shared with Isaac and Will last night.

Pours a golden orange-ish yellow, with a quarter inch fizzy head, and a little bit of lacing.

Smells like peaches, lemons, and some dirty sour funk. Smells great.

My usual problem with Berliner is that there isn't a lot of naturally juicy fruit flavor left over, it's just sour and thin. This remedies that wholesomely. Lots of great sour peach flavor, peach skin and peach flesh both, with some hay, lactic acid, lemons, and lots of dirty tasty barnyard funk. It's pretty sour, but not overwhelmingly so, doesn't get old.

This is light bodied, with an airy, spritzy mouthfeel, and a higher amount of carbonation. It's really, really drinkable and quite refreshing, even in November.

This is one of the best beers I've had from New York State. Maybe this batch is better than previous ones, because I feel this deserves a much higher rating than it gets here.

a hazy orangy pour with two fingers of head which diminished quickly into a thin ring. smells wonderfully refreshing.. lots of lacto sourness comes into the nose immediately, definitely getting some peach, lots of wheat, funky bretty notes. ohhh that tastes excellent.. a subtle sourness/tart flavor of lactobacillus and peach combined. not extremely mouth puckering sour or anything - but just enough to bring out the fruit flavor AND the wheat taste. light in body and high carbonation fits the style perfectly.

this is my first beer from sloop, and i'm impressed. this is a wonderful take on the berliner weisse style, and not to be overlooked. i'll have to check out some of their other brews.

Thanks to cavedave for the nice BIF beer. Tasted 25 January 2013, reviewed from notes.

Pours a pale orangey yellow, quite cloudy. It has an odd color, like a tangerine drink or something, with that soft orange tint. Thin layer of white head, thanks to a gentle pour; it quickly sizzles away, leaving little to no lacing.

Smell is tart, wheaty, with a twist of peach. All things that I expected, but they work really well together, dancing off each other, one adding highlights as another shines. Really nice.

Taste is clean and crisply citrusy sour. A pronounced peachy sweetness makes the beer all that much better, turning it into a sour-sweet contrast that I really enjoy.

Mouthfeel is delightful. Light-bodied, with a wheaty fuzziness. Carbonation that surges up, keeping things moving, then fizzles and fades. Quite good, and a perfect complement to the rest of the beer.

A darn good berliner weisse. I really like the peach, as the juicy sweetness makes a really nice complement to the citrus sour. Quite tasty.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a pint glass.

Appearance: very pale golden hue with plenty of haze, yielding a silvery-white appearance. Plenty of floaties in the beer, but that's due to my pour; this beer is bottle-conditioned on lees. Effervescence is huge, and the effect is more of a fizzy soda pop than a beer; head was quite fizzy and dissipated very quickly.

Smell: lightly wheaty with a hint of peach and a mild tartness. A very balanced concoction; I like it.

Taste: light, wheaty malt with a smooth, chalky undertone. Peach works well as an accent and isn't overdone. Sourness is mild but gives enough of a kick to be quite refreshing. I like it.

Mouthfeel: light body but a massive effervescence and a big, if ephemeral, creaminess. I think it is quite good for the style.

Overall: a very refreshing and very drinkable beer. I could quaff gallons of this stuff.

Dan and Emma, big weekend thanks to you guys. Never heard of this beer or this brewery before Friday night.

A- Semi hazy golden orange body to a few pint glasses. A white head rises with a frothy consistency but falls to a tiny ring. The lacing is spotty at best to be honest.

S- Tart fruits off the top with a pretty big peach contingent. Lactic acid and lemony sourness with notes of peach, apricot, dried straw barnyard and citrus.

T- Peach flesh opens up here with a stone fruit feel combining with a funky, tart bug feel to produce the final product. Every sip brings lactic funk, heavy peach and pith notes, tangerine, white grape and just generally funky tones,

MF- Light end bodied with a pretty hefty carbonation. Foamy and puffy overall as the high end carbonation falls on the taste buds. Tart to sour in the finish.

Happy to try this brew as it combines a funky Wild Ale/Sour feel with stone fruits and the obviously added peaches. Thanks again Dan/Emma for this beer. Funky stone fruits overall.
