This beer is Sloop Brewing’s artistic ale. The Sauer Peach’s complex flavors come from a natural sour culture. This tart flavor is woven with sweet peach nectar to provide your palate with a contrastingly balanced beer. It is light in body, and stands at alc. 4.3% by vol.
One theory holds that the Berliner Weisse style ale originated from the Huguenots passing through the Flanders region of Belgium on their way to Germany. Later, the Huguenots established a community in New Paltz, NY, which is just across the Hudson River from Sloop Brewery. This is our interpretation of their beer.

The beer is a gold color with a little haze. A tiny white head disappears almost instantly.

I was actually kind of floored with this one most sour ales these days tend to be too sour so the fruit gets lost in the Berliner or Gose base. This one you can pick up the fruit, sweet cereal grains, and just enough sour pucker to make for a repeated sip. Goes down super smooth the you can actually have more than one without it eating the enamel from your teeth. Fully recommended especially now you can find it in can forum for relatively cheap!

This is a beer I frequently drink going out to this one bar by my work. I always get it there but never seem to see it on the shelves. Well, now tbat I found one I can sit down and give it a proper review, though I know I already like it. Let’s dive in
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a finger of off white head that quickly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is pretty basic on this one, but definitely solid. I’m picking up on aromas of peach gummy, lemon yogurt, wheat bread, cereal grain, and orange juice
There’s a very bright tartness to this one which keeps me coming back. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart white peach, lemon zest, wheat bread, orange zest, and light grassy hops. The swallow brings notes of lemon juice, tart white peach, orange juice, biscuity malt, white pepper, and a touch of honey
A light body pairs with moderate
carbonation, resulting in a sharply tart and refreshing beer. Finishes bone dry and tart
This is a solid summer crusher, I just wish more of it hit the shelves

12 oz can poured into a snifter. Pours a hazy yellow with a rocky off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature tart peach front and center, along with creamy wheat, a hint of grains of paradise, and salt. Mouthfeel is acidic and well-carbonated. A refreshing sour peach beer that would be ideal in summer.
8-12-2022 update (not making any ratings changes, however): there is a weird off flavor that comes across like watermelon or some off with the malt. Not undrinkable, but not as good as before. Might be the same flavor as the grains of paradise I mentioned before but regardless, it's not an improvement.
