Cergal is distributed by a supermarket chain and it is produced by Sociedade central de Cervejas. In the label we can read “Holland Type” (I don’t know why..) and the cork is unmarked. This is a very low price brand and the quality is according to its price!

Appearance: very pale straw color, very clear. White very low head (almost non-existent) and consequentially no retention.
Smell: very, very faint.
Taste: grainy and adjuncty. No hops.
Mouthfeel: dry, moderate carbonation, low alcoholic strength and watery body.
Finish: the taste disappears as quickly as I drink it (fortunately!).

Overall: a bland, empty and characterless adjunct macro lager. I bought it for curiosity but they won’t catch me again.
