Very cool place, I stopped by on our way home. Took the kids and wife in and they really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everyone is very relaxed, fast to serve and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the description of the brews on tap. The selection can seem a bit small; however, given it is a Stone Company Store, I'd say their selection is amazing. If you're expecting this to be like their Bistro or any type of restaurant environment, you are sadly mistaken. This is a company store with merchandise and beers on tap for Growler fills and sampling. It's still worth visiting, just don't get your expectations up.

This place is the perfect spot To read a magazine and try good beer on a day off - catch me here pretty much every Wednesday / have a couple brews and walk over to slaters! I love that they have a twitter so I could kno exactly what days I should stop by to grab the fresh stuff and the stuff from stone farms . The staff is dope and they're glassware is super cheap I'm lucky I only live like 20 minutes away / growler fills are under 10 bucks .. War enjoy by! And War sublimely self righteous!
One last thing - the vibe here is perfect it's jot a bar it's a store/ no fuckin TVs with cavemen just looking up at them just beer brah

Others have said it but it's worth stating again, this place is for growler fills and merchandise and little else. That's not saying it's not worth going to, it's just important that people know what to expect before going there. No food. No TVs. No indoor seating.
They do samples of their beers, of course, and they have some bottles for sale but generally nothing too fancy. They do special/limited beers on tap twice a week I think (Tuesdays and Fridays)--the other days of the week are generally slow. The one thing that keeps me coming back is they get the Enjoy Bys on tap and in bottles (even the ones that aren't distributed in SoCal).
Check out their web site, Twitter, or Facebook to keep up to date with their special releases and events.

This is a Stone establishment right next to the Metro Gold Line station, so there's easy access via public transportation from Downtown LA area. There is also ample parking for those that drive. It's near Old Town Pasadena, so there many places to eat before or after your visit.
As for the store itself, I think it serves its purpose well, the primary role to fill growlers. There weren't any interior tables or seats, and only a few outside, so it's not designed as a place to hang out with friends. The cooler I saw was small and there weren't many bottled beers for sale, unless they have some chilling in the back and you need to ask for them. I doubt it though.
They had about 10 taps. I wanted to try Enjoy By which was hard to find in bottles at the time. I sure wished there were seats inside. I had another Stone beer, and I was out of there.
Again, if you're there to fill growlers, then it's fine. Not so much, if you are meeting friends to drink and hang out. Very minimal seating in the patio area right outside the main door.

It's a store that sells growler fills, bottles and merchandise from Stone only. We stopped here to check it out last weekend and was a bit disappointed. Unlike their brewery, this place only has their beers which, honestly, is just o.k. If it wasn't for their great marketing and festivals, I feel that their beers alone can't be compared to many others in SD or NorCal. Anyways, there's no seating inside, just some tables outside. I don't think it's intended for hanging out. Beers and growler fills are relatively inexpensive. They have about 8 taps with the usual suspects like their Pale, IPA, Sublimely, porter, Cali-belg, etc. If you live close by, it's a good stop for a growler fill if you're planning a party or BBQ. Otherwise, for people looking for a beer bar or a place to hangout with a good tap list, you can just head down the street to Luckys.

I visited the Stone Company Store this past weekend hoping to get a taste of Smoked Old Guardian on tap but they didn't have it. It's a fairly small spot in an interesting area right next to the train tracks. Lots of Stone merch for sale along with bottles in a few coolers. They only had about 8 beers on tap available for pours and growler fills. Beers were served in the proper glassware. They had a bunch of the special bottles for sale but I passed this time. Service was good even though it was quite busy. I will definitely be stopping in again when I do my Pasadena drinking route.

This place is awesome. If you live around the Los Angeles area and love Stone Brewing(Who Doesn't) I recommend you check this place out. You can even take the metro into Pasadena as the metro lets you off directly in front of the company store. They get many if not all special releases from Stone (Bottles & Growler Fills) They have shirts, hats and other Stone goods for sale as well. It's not the biggest place but It's a good place to taste and try a few good beers at the counter or outside small patio. Then you can buy a growler of whatever you like. The growler prices are such a deal ranging from $!0-$!6 And the service here is beyond great. Lots of good people working behind the counter. Great job Stone Company Store Pasadena! See you soon

More an extension of the Stone empire than anything else. Not that that is a bad thing. During my visit, the main function served seemed to be growler fills which is probably the intention, but its also a good place to get your fill of on tap samples. I don't know if there is a shortage of that in the area, but I'd be happy coming here for a good range of Stone.
There are a few tables outside but standing room only inside among the racks of clothing and other merch. Only one fridge for bottle purchases which was surprising. The site itself is kind of hidden inside the train station complex with little signage. Just look for the happy people drinking beer.
Service was quick and friendly but it can get a bit crowded and the line for the register tends to cross the line up at the bar. I'm sure that will sort itself out in time.

The grand opening of the first Stone establishment in LA was today, but I was in a few times during the soft opening. I thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Of course, kinks are being worked out, but overall I am thrilled to have this place near me!
Located in the Del Mar Metro station, in the same courtyard as The Luggage Room and the police sub-station, Stone has a patio with about eight tables and windows lining the front of the store. Parking is available in the garage on Raymond, and is free for 90 min. Take the elevator up and you are there. Upon walking in, the place looks sparse, but not lacking. Various merchandise lines the walls with a few racks for clothing scattered about. The lighting is modern and comfortable, and the vibe of the place is a modern, industrial (think classy industrial, not steel plant industrial) sort of feel. The smell of beer permeates the nostrils and makes your mouth water for rare Stone beer. It is a small space, but with lots of room to stand around and have a beer.
Speaking of beer, that is why you are reading this—right?—there is 10 (I think) taps behind a bar with two cash registers. All the usual suspects feature in the lineup, with growler fills, 4oz tasters, 10oz pours, or pints available for purchase. Prices are great, same as in Escondido and vary based on the beer. Since they had their soft opening, I have been able to land growler fills of Enjoy By 11.9.12 and Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout. Special releases will be a regular feature here, from what the staff told me. Also, ask if they have any special bottles for sale, as I landed a few bottles of 2010 Bourbon Barrel aged Old Guardian. The staff is friendly and helpful, even as they work out efficiency in the new spot.
Plain and simple, this place is great. You can get a growler of special, or the awesome regular lineup, of stone beers in Pasadena! That is simply awesome!
This will be a regular stop to buy beer, or do the pub crawl in Old Town.
