16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 9% after the finish. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Fantastic Galaxy/Mosaic profile. Super juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a nice sized dark/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive Midwest style example.

Pours a slightly hazy light orange with a large, off-white head. Has a good amount of carbonation and leaves lacing.
A huge smell of melon, Orange and citrus hops.
Taste follows nose in which resinous hop comes up front and malt transitions nicely to prominant citrus juice. Nicky DIPA frankness to finish that sticks around.
Creamy mouthfeel in which big hops makes it interesting.
Overall a great DIPA.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint can on February 14, 2018. Packaged 01/24/18. Brewed with Mosaic and Galaxy hops. Nice juicy hops flavors. Feel is lightly bitter and somewhat dry in the finish.

2/9 - Monk's Pub (Chicago) Draft - Nice strong IPA, loved the fruity smell contrasting with a nice bitter taste. This was my first Begyle offering, and I hope to try their other offerings down the road. Will definately snag this beer when offered. Three word summary -Giggity, giggity, giggity.
