Sunday afternoon, beautiful day… after shopping and eating at the Old City Festival (yet another cool fest in Philly), we biked up north to Kraftwork. Brunch-lunch there and, as we head down, the wife spots Lloyd, barely two doors down from the Kraft… she insists on stopping in for a drink, and I find that the bar is listed on BA. It is mostly a whiskey-bourbon bar, but they do have a couple of cool taps.
Their eight drafts include Old Heathen, Dock St Rye, Yella Pils, Rare Vos, Flying Dog Hopfish, Evil Genius, and are priced at four dollars between five and eight at night Monday to Friday. I wanted a half-pint of Old Heathen to go with my Baker’s 107 but they don’t do that, so I skipped the brew and focused on the bourbon. The wife had a very well-done Sazerac.
The food menu looks great! Upscale New American grub, including some foie-gras… must try soon. Lloyd ain’t cheap for sure, but it is very much worth. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Walking through town. Happen upon this place. 45 min wait but sat outside for service instead. Fine with that. Decent beer selection. Cool menu. A LOT of artsy liqour. Interesting food menu. Only quip is slow service as in 30 min wait on beer. But I can understand they were very busy.
