I am probably rating this beer a bit high, but it is because I think it deserves a little credit. This beer was one of the standard keg beers at my fraternity and it served us very well. I still enjoy visiting the house and re-living some good times. First, it is MUCH better on draught than in bottles or cans. Second, when you are constrained by a budget; you need 8-10 kegs a week for general consumption, and more for parties; you need to please 60+ guys; and your alternatives are Meisterbrau, Coors, Budweiser, Old Milwaukee, and the like; Genny Cream is a great alternative. Finally, I think this used to be a better beer before it became more widely distributed and the parent company underwent a re-organization.
Appearance: light straw, with a nice, soft, moussy head.
Smell: sweet, doughy, with a touch of cotton candy.
Taste: again sweet, with a reminder of bread dough. No real hops. Not very complex.
Mouthfeel: Not much body, but smooth, un-challenging. No real finish, but no sour notes or chemical remnants.
Drinkability: Very drinkable cold and fresh on draught. A reliable beer for drinking in quantity.
Bottom Line: Definitely a better alternative than the "standards," especially on draught. A reliable, inexpensive session beer that satisfies the requirements of its category, but won't make you say "wow."
Serving type: on-tap

t - sweet caramel and wheat
m - light and highly carbonated
o - not the greatest, but definitely drinkable, and a good beer for the price, it's great to share.
