Pours light golden with a thin white head. excellent retention, and nice lacing. Aroma is of zesty lemon, and candy. Body is light and crisp with a good amount of carbonation. Taste is of tart fruit and wheat. A bit more tart than some others of this style that I've had, but well worth a try. I'll drink it again.

A - Poured out a hazy pale gold color with a small, white, bubbly head of foam. It left little to no lacing.
S - It smelled of lemon and wheat. A touch of spice.
T - It tasted of cracked wheat, lemon and some spices.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a solid wheat beer. Nothing to fabulous, but drinkable and light.

Appearance - Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a centimeter thick, frothy head. Dissipates quickly and has nice lacing.
Smell - Lemon zest, citrus, wheat, and caramel.
Taste - Pretty bitter with caramel, lemon zest, citrus, wheat, and a sweet grainy taste.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with high carbonation.
Overall - This is a very crisp beer and would be perfect on a summer day. Bought this in Tawas City the day I proposed to my fiance.

This one poured out as a lightly hazy golden color with a fluffy white head on top. The smell of the beer is sweet and grainy. Not much of a lemony aroma or anything like that. The taste of the beer is decent, not something I love but it's not too bad. The mouthfeel is light and moderately refreshing. Overall this beer is drinkable but not too flavorful.

Slightly cloudy wheat beer ready for the summer in late fall...this beer appears a hazy golden with a bright white foamy head. Forms fine even spceckled lacing down the sides of my glass. Aroma has a sharp fruity/citrus nose with pale malts and wheat tones going on. A bit earthy and floral with hops and summer beer tones going on...flavor has a citrus wheath beer qulaity very refreshing beer half citrus hafl creamy wheat malt flavor. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied ale with a sturdy carbonation that goes down smooth and drinks pretty well with this type of beer.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Look – light golden color, maybe a little murky, with about two fingers worth of frothy white foam that dissipates somewhat slowly.
Smell – a little soapy in smell and bitter, but otherwise with a slightly lemon-like smell with hints of hops.
aste – a pretty subtle taste for a wheat beer. The rye taste is there, but it’s mellowed out a bit, but by what I can’t tell. The citrus is there, but it’s not overbearing. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel – pretty well balanced!
Overall – not a spectacular brew in terms of it’s interestingness, but not at all bad tasting either.

Picked this up at Buy Rite in Jersey City recently since I had never tried anything from Genesee/Dundee before. It hasn't been so warm here lately but I figured I'd give this a go and even though I know that beers of this sort tend to be light and easygoing, this was almost too light and lacking in fulfillment for me. When the pour is the best aspect of a beer, it's obvious that something isn't quite up to par with it!
This had a golden hue that was pretty cloudy with a nicely foamy head and lacing to match. Lots of light flavors here including elderflower, honey, and lemon, with all of them working nicely together. There was a bit of sediment that had to be swirled out of my bottle but the soapy appearance of the lacing and in the mouthfeel stood out a lot more. The wheat stood out enough here that it cut the beer enough, so like most wheat beers, this was easygoing with virtually no distinctive aroma or aftertaste.
Of course, this would be a great session beer. A German Hefeweizen would be a better choice than this but for a nice afternoon by the grill or mowing the lawn, this would be a decent choice. It's just a bit thin, but the flavors are there and would pair decently with most food choices.

Poured the 12oz bottle into a Weizen glass. The bottle reads "limited release".
A: nice appearance with a cloudy golden yellow color. Usually other wheat beers have more orange color in their bodies but this one didn't. Two finger head adorned the glass beautifully, good retention. Small bubbles rose up throughout the body to the head. Small lacing was present.
S: hints of citrus, lemon was predominant. Wheat was present as well. A bit bland but good enough to invite you to sip the beer.
T: just like the nose, citrus flavors are strongly present along with wheat. Hints of floral and herbal are there too. Nothing too offensive.
M: light to medium body, medium carbonation. Goes down very easily and has a clean finish. Good mouthfeel for a summer bear since it ends up asking for more due to its smoothness.
O: a good summer beer, goes down easy and can be enjoyed with just about any food pairing. It leaves you wanting for something more and it definitely has room for improvement, but nevertheless, a decent choice.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. About ¾ inches to an inch of head. Color was a hazy golden. Some lacing on the top and an uneven film on the side of the glass. Each stayed throughout.
Wheat led the smell, but also some grains, and slight hints of lemon and hops.
Three different tastes combined, including wheat, grains and lemon. That being said, all were light and fairly bland.
Pretty high on the carbonation. Somewhat refreshing, crisp and clean.
Not too bad of a beer, especially compared to some of the others in the 10-pack I got from BevMo. Some of these ratings could have changed either way. Nothing special, nothing too bad.

Just like the bottle says, pours cloudy and tastes crisp. I was looking for a good summer session beer, and Dundee's Summer Wheat did not disappoint. Nice white head that fades, but never completely goes away. Aroma is clean and crisp. Very refreshing with just the right balance of malt, wheat and subdued hops, with a carbonation level that made me smile. Pour into a glass, or drink straight from the bottle, and choose this offering over anything with corn or rice, as the flavor continues to satisfy as the beer is enjoyed.
