12 oz bottle.

Pours a medium amber with a large, frothy, off-white head.

Aroma: a bit unpleasant: musty and earthy. {a 2nd tasting in Jan. 2012 had a mildly pleasant aroma, with no musty aspect - rating adjusted accordingly].

Initially, the flavor is quite subtle, but a good malty mix comes in mid-taste and lingers. Some hop presence, although less than suggested by the aroma.

M: light-medium body; good carbonation; admirably smooth.

O - a decent if unexceptional English PA, with one sample marred by a rather poor aroma.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle sampled on November 18, 2011. It has a handsome looking medium amber pour with lively carbonation that leads to a long-lasting head and loads of lacing. The aroma has vague malts, slightly bolder hops, but a lot of bread and biscuit. The body is thin to medium. There is an odd sort of Capryclic acidity in it with a faint sweet malt-sharp bitter balance. It was not what I had hoped. That English water really makes the difference.

A: Golden orange with a thin white head. Carbonation is visible.

S: Caramel and biscuity malt with a bit of citrus hops.

T: Follows the smell with some biscuit and caramel with a bit of citrus hops on the finish.

M: Medium with medium carbonation.

O: Solid beer at a decent price. Good one to have around.

Pours a pale hazed copper orange hue with a bright white head forming thick and dwindling down at a moderate pace. Aroma has a pleasant rolling biscuit malt profile with hints of apricot spread, citrus, and herbacous leaves. Flavor is a clean drinking session English style pale ale. Light bodied last carbonation slight oily mouthfeel nothing bad to say.

From a mixed twelver bought at Sprouts in Round Rock.

Honey gold color, soft fluffy head that laces nicely..slightly cloudy. Nice looking beer in a pint glass.

Sweet bready malty scent...a bit buried though.

Taste follows...lightly sweet cooked sweetbread initially, followed by a a slighty astringent aftertaste...hop bite is there, and a bit of flavor, a bit more buried than I would like though...but not too shabby.

A very smooth beer though, super easy to drink...a good session brew for those who want low abv but a bit of flavor.

Dundee has put out a very respectable English Pale Ale here. Give it a try.

The beer pours a beautiful dark golden color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a light and fruity pale malt scent along with a bit of yeast esters and a bit of English hops. It's pretty tame while showcasing the malts. The taste is good. It has a very quaffable pale and Munich malt flavor. It's a tad sweet with a touch of English hops in the finish. It goes down easy with minimal yeast fruitiness that only enhances the taste. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking beer. It's light and flavorful while being well balanced and quite quaffable.

A - Beautiful golden/orange color with a slight haze. Half finger off white head that doesnt seem to be going anywhere. Lots of visible carbonation.

S - Rich malt base, caramel and earthy notes, slightly nutty. A hint of pine hops in the background.

T - Malts and nutty flavor continue to dominate. Hop bitterness in the background but no flavor to note.

M - Medium body. good carbonation. Finish is sweet with that nut flavor.

O - Good drinkability, could easily session these. Nothing too special though, tastes pretty similar to Newcastle.

I poured the bottle into a glass and it has a golden color with a very slight cloudiness. The smell is reminds me a lot like Harp. The taste is very good. It has a slight wheat taste with a great after taste. The beer is very smooth and really easy to drink. Over all this is a good beer, but isnt anything I would go out of my way to get.

Available in their new Fall Craft Pack.

A - Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a one-finger, rocky, white head of foam. It left some patchy trails of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled earthy and malty with a touch of floral notes.

T - Butterscotch and caramel flavor like most English ales with some citrusy hop bite. Very mild bitterness.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is a nice English style ale. Another Dundee beer that is sessionable and could make a good gateway beer.
