Appearance - Clear golden-orange color with a medium head that vanishes quickly. No lacing.
Smell - Almost no odor. It has a faint skunk against weak grain. Odd since it is in a brown bottle.
Taste - Considering the smell surprisingly good. It isn't a strong flavor, but it has a very mild malt flavor followed soon by a slightly stronger honey taste. The sweetness is mild though, nothing intense or syrupy. No bitterness. After several second the honey aftertaste is replaced by a mild sour-bitter, not potent enough to be repulsive, it just makes you want to drink again.
Mouthfeel - Its smoothness is uncanny, leaves a slight pectin texture on the roof of you mouth which dissappears quickly. A bit thin, I was hoping for a more viscous lager. It is incredibly refreshing.
Drinkability - I usually take a long time drinking my beers. Giving me lots of little sips and lots of time to savor. I didn't do that here. I wanted to taste the honey and the revitalizing texture. Not that I chugged it, but I took it in quicker than usual. I could drink this with many meals, I could drink this again right now. At its reasonable price, this is a fairly good buy.

Honey Brown Original Lager .99 Cents a 24 oz can(OH)
24 oz can poured into a stemless white wine glass, for .99 cents. don't mind if i do. no freshness date just a can code on the bottom.
pours a nice clear amber color. amberish brown. a two finger white head, not dense but not thin either. gives way to nice lacing.
the smell is rather sweet. the malts are hidden pretty well. smells like grainy honey. not too much else here, which isnt bad. I like Honey!
the taste rather follows the nose, not very malty at all, well balanced with the honey. the taste is rather subtle at first. but the more you drink it becomes rather rich. i can session this. but a few of my friends cant. Honey being a dominate taste here.
mouth feel is decent. carbonation feels great, a dry-ness i expected followed by a nice sweet honey feel. It kind of makes the mouth feel dry, but that's not bad. Like noble hops do. This does NOT have noble hops but it kind of feels like it. Again honey being the dominate taste.
overall this brew is great by my accounts. .99 Cents a 24 oz. A honey dominate brew. but well balanced. malts are well hidden. i would buy this again. Price is right, and so is the taste if you like honey. you can pick up a 12 pack of 24 Oz's for just over $12. that's 24 beers for a shade over 12 bucks. deal!
