Brewed with 100% maple sap as the brew liquor, this beauty features a touch of smoked malt and a copious amount of cherries. Look for banana, clove, maple, stone fruit and a kiss of smoke as your palate explodes with complexity.

Had on tap. Murky almost syrupy brown appearance, no head. Smoke, dried cherry, maple, and plum nose. Unlink any DW I have ever had, clearly non-traditional but delicious: cherry, smoke, maple, wheat, brown sweet bread, and lingering spices. Feel is thick for style, sweeter feeling and has a turbid impression

Very tart and refreshing. Just a hint of smokiness on top of the cherry tartness. A strange but enjoyable beer. I don't know what the maple sap does, but they seem to use it in other of their beers. Really liked this one.
