Pours clear, old gold, with occasional carbonation. One half inch of off-white head makes a brief appearance before leaving a curtain of lace on an AO tumbler glass.
The aroma is sweet and malt forward, with honey and light hops for the style.
It is pleasantly bitter, with mild sweetness and ample pine resin. The finish is strong and lingers, adding more resin.
Alcohol is as expected. It has a medium body and soft texture.
I am rating the impression higher than expected because it is more enjoyable than my impression of the style notes indicate. While not and English IPA either, that would be more fitting to my experienced. I am enjoying it while watching football, which seems appropriate.

Purchased a pack of cans at the brewery. Dated 06/23/20 (6 weeks old)
Nice head that last for quite a while. Hazy golden color. I like the taste, balanced, not too harsh on hops/bitterness.
From the brewer: Burnt copper color and giant hop aroma come from this traditional American IPA. Rich caramel malt and red wheat balance the dry bitter finish of this full-flavor craft brew.
