A: Medium brown in color, similar to a dark black tea. Nice white head on top that quickly falls into an even layer on top.

S: Bread and biscuit with a touch of molasses and a little bit of an herbal quality. Perhaps a very light coffee taste.

T: Slight caramel flavor with bread and and a little herbal taste in the finish.

M: Medium light in body, high carbonation, very slight tannic feel in the finish.

O: Decent beer, it was made to be the beer for the local baseball team and I can see the appeal in that. Easy drinking, and fairly low abv would make this a good brew to drink all day at the ball park. However the same qualities that make it appealing as a ballpark beer also make it slightly boring. Still, knocking back a few on a summer day would be just fine.

Solid Amber Lager, with a touch more hops than most. But thats to be expected from COTU. As their true claim to fame are their IPAs. Much better than any BMC on a hot summer day.

A lager brewed in conjunction with Richmond's AA baseball team- The Flying Squirrels. It's good enough to have at the ballpark on game night as opposed to buying BMC beer, but on its own it falls flat in the flavor department.
