Chewy chocolate dessert on tap at the brewery. So smooth.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, foamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.
S: A nice aroma of oranges, roasted malt, chocolate, and hops.
T: Tasted of a little tinge of sea salt, a good shot of dark chocolate, some roasted malt (present throughout), light hops in the finish), and a surprisingly high amount of orange. While the orange isn't the dominant ingredient, it is definitely featured. That being said, the flavor is pretty well-balanced between the citrus and the chocolate and malt.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is one of those stouts that won't appeal to everyone, but if you like citrus give it a try. Drinkable.

Pours a dark brown, almost brown in color with an extremely thin caramel head that leaves no lacing on the glass at all. Notes of Chocolate and some orange hit the nose. Upon tasting, the dark chocolate come thru first with the orange on the back side. Don't really get the sea salt that is on the bottle. While the ABV is 10.50%, you don't really notice the high alcohol content until all of a sudden it hits you. Never had anything from this brewery before. My wife picked this up from me while on a business trip in Richmond. She always tries to get me new stuff to try. She knows my type (stout, especially imperial stouts). She is awesome for bringing me back a bomber of this back for me.

From the bottle, it pours a dark brown, almost black with a short tan head that quickly dissipates. Orange in the nose as well as a bit of roasted malt. Easy drinking but powerful! Beware!

The beer pours a nice light dark tan head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a nice dark chocolate black that appears to be a little more thin than expected for the style but still has enough heft to it such that it doesn't negatively affect it.
The smell is good. The smell has a nice and strong orange note with a light salt that dominates the stout's sweet milk chocolate notes.
The taste is good. The balance between the two notes is much better in the taste than it is in the smell. It still has the sweet dark milk chocolate flavor but at a much stronger intensity. The salt is also more noticeable.
The feel is good. The beer has a heavy body but feels a bit syrupy and a tad thin. The beer still has enough texture to it such that it's still good.
Overall, this is a pretty interesting beer because of how well the notes work with each other. The unique notes are certainly ones that work well with stouts. I definitely recommend this one.

I got this on the recommendation of a salesperson when I couldn't find Souther Tier's Oranj Chokolat. So, my rating is partially influenced by my comparing the two.
The stout is definitely heavy on the orange... I can smell it from across the room in my glass. This isn't necessarily a bad things the smell is quite pleasant. Both the orange and chocolate are definitely present, but I feel the orange overpowers just a bit. But the emphasis in the stout's name is on "Orange", so if you like orange, you won't be disappointed.
Overall, the beer is very sweet and "caramely", a good desert stout, but my impression of it was that it was just okay. Good, but not great.
