Owned by Harris Teeter. I was surprised to see a large selection of beers that you rarely see locally. Lots of Belgians and a number of sours. All the macro and easy to find craft you'd expect too. Definitely the cheapest prices in the area too!

This place is a Harris Teeter spin off, so my expectations were pretty low. Altough, I must say most Harris Teeters have a respectable beer selection, compared to other grocery chains.

201 Central is the size of a regular grocery store. About half the store is dedicated to wine and drinking accesories, a quarter for specialty foods, and a quarter for beer.
They have an inventory comparable of Total Wine. However, I felt as though they do not carry as many seasonals. They had a keg list of about 20 to choose from, but it is diluted with BMC's.

The prices really surprised me. They were definitely the lowest around. This might be an introductory tactic, but we will have to wait and see. They also offer savings using your VIC card, so that is also a plus.

I know buying craft beer from large, corporate stores like this is frowned upon, but if you want to save a few bucks for standard crafts, you might want to check it out.

Do not expect any service, in my two visits I have only encountered one staff member who asked if I needed help. But if you are like me, you really don't need any suggestions. I usually turn away help unless I inquire about a particular beer I do not see on the shelf. In my opinion, the service rating holds a little too much weight on the overall rating.
