Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Mild aromas of pale malts, bread malts. Some bready and fruity yeast. A dry, lightly fruity, earthy finish. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts. This turns quickly into a strong yeasty and bready flavor. Lightly fruity yeast flavors. Finish is yeasty and dry.(3.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Huge carbonation. Finishes dry. (3.50)
Compared to New Glarus Two Women Helles 7/31/22: Pours a simiar appearance. More fruity yeast. Less smooth bread and honey notes. Lighter and dryer.
Compared to Utepils Helles 7/31/22: Pours a similar color. Milder aromas. More fruit and yeast. Less earthy yeast and toasted bread malts. Dryer and cleaner. Winner: Utepils.
Overall: A strong and fruity yeast component to this one. I was intrigued by the aroma. Not sure on the age, but the yeast almost seems a bit wild. Lightly fruity, yeasty, carbonated. A clean, dry finish. Not a whole lot of other Munich flavor characteristics. Reminds me of a Kolsch or a light Saison. (Rating: 3.65)

Day 1 of the 2021 Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of wheaty grain. Tastes of wheat grain and some sweet fruit, especially banana. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Clear gold color, medium white collar that disappears quickly. Very little aroma. Slightly sweet beery taste.

Sweet and slightly sour taste with a familiar malty nose. Clear golden color, white but weak head. An easy drink and a good example of the helles style.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear gold color with a small white head. The aroma is yeasty malt, grain and grass. The taste is very similar to the nose.

Had on tap. This is a wonderful Helles Lager. Don't understand the hate at all. The pour is a clear and a bit light but still in the appropriate range for the style. Smells bready and caramely. The taste has that wonderful warm bread and wheat with the german hops and very slight citrus on the finish. Feel is full, yet slightly carbonated. Would definitely have again, especially on a summer afternoon out on the porch

12oz bottle. Poured out a crystal clear, golden color with a small, fizzy white head of foam. It smelled floral with toasted caramel. Sweet caramel taste with a bread-like quality.
