On tap at Rabbit's.
Murky and opaque, saturated orange color, creamy head of white foam on top.
Pungent citrus and floral aromas, nice juicy edge from the Citra.
Orange peel and tangerine, pepper and a little bit of clove. Resinous citrus peel aftertaste with some phenolic Belgian yeast adding some peppery spice. Medium bodied, clean and dry, big hoppy flavor. Creamy smooth feel. Lingering flavor of honey from the malts, no sweetness. Overall a pretty impressive beer from these guys, reminiscent of some of Haymarket's solid Belgian IPA's.

On draft at Beer Bistro on 4/13
Beautiful orange color with limited bright white head
The smell was somewhat muted. Light orange/coriander smell of a Belgian and some very light grassy hop scent.
The beer has a good mouthfeel as it's very smooth. It coats the tongue but doesn't linger. You pick up all the flavors. It's easily distinguishable what the style of the beer is, as I did not know when I ordered it. The Belgian seems to be slightly more pronounced than the hop character. The hops are there mainly for grassy, bitter flavor. It does help balance the sweetness from the Belgian flavors. Very easy drinking, and I could see it being popular in the summer. It's a very approachable beer as well. In terms of the budding Chicago beer scene, it wasn't a standout for me.
