I've had many of the offerings from here. Most of them only differ slightly. I liked it but I liked it even more when mixed 50/50 with the more subdued Grove Stand.

A couple day old growler.....

A - Hazy orange pour with a decent lace retention

S - Some muted tangerines and a touch of cut grass. Overall lacking

T - Spicy tangerines with what feels like a belgian yeast, the lightest of pine and orange creamsicle finish

M - Low carb I feel is holding this a bit back. Medium feel and light hop presence

O - Something is missing here. This flirts with the belgian IPA category. I wish I got more pineapple like the description says but that piece is lacking. ABV is easily drinkable. The orange citrus finish helps but just some minor tweaking like a lack of spice and more hops and it will elevate.

64oz Growler from Beer'd, their biggest beer to date. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a half inch of head. Moderate amount of lacing. Very fruity aroma. Pineapple, orange, tangerine, and some sweet grapefruit. The taste is very dry. Juicy pineapple and tangerines with some bitter orange peel as well. Maybe some floral notes at the end along with more of the bitter citrus peel. Very little alcohol presence for a beer with an abv North of 9. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is very dry. Beer'd really knows their way around IPAs/DIPAs and this is no exception. Overall, another hit.

32oz. howler picked up at the brewery today and served in my newly purchased Beer'd Teku. Pours a dull, translucent orange-gold with a one inch, dense, bright white head that eventually disperses towards the shoulder, leaving a soapy bull's eye dollop in the center. Arcs and spots of lacing decorate the walls of the glass. Great nose on this one - mango and floral notes as well as a faint, buttery quality. Taste consistent with nose; however, an earthy bitterness dominates the flavor profile, with the other qualities somewhat masked in the background. Mouthfeel is light-medium (perhaps a touch on the thin side for the style) with a crisp carbonation, a light acidity and a subtle dryness. Overall, a very nice DIPA with a well-hidden abv that nicely showcases some southern hemisphere hops. Glad I finally made it down to CT to check these guys out.
