Received this from Roguer, Not a Beer’d employee but certainly an evangelist for them.
First all Nelson hops beer I think I have had, so I was most curious.
Poured a very good looking honey gold color which sprouted a 2” bone white head that wouldn’t go away.
Lacing is very insistent on sticking around too.
The aroma, for me, was mild. But I did get a little apricot or peach mixed in with the hops.
The taste, what I have been waiting for, stone fruit and pine needles and some citrus I think. The apricot is there, but only in the nose, if that makes sense.
The feel is great, just viscous enough to remind you that you probably shouldn’t be crushing this. The swallow is dry, like a dry wine in feel, not sure if it’s Nelson or what. Good though.
Very nice beer, I think I could get to really appreciate Nelson hops.

Well thanks to Roguer for opening my mind to the possibilities of Nelson hops.
Caveat: I typically am not a fan of Nelson hops, particularly when not in a mix with other hops.
Appearance is golden and nearly crystal clear. The fluffy white head is capped with larger bubbles atop a milky, two-finger high layer of foam. Fantastic retention. Abundant clumpy lacing.
Nose abounds with aromas of juniper, melon, apricot, grass, floral citrus, some herbal notes akin to pepper. And thankfully, only the mildest hint of cat piss. (What usually turns me off with Nelson).
Flavor is a melange of juniper, underripe blueberry, grass, weed, white sage (yeah, I know most people haven't tasted that, I have), citrus, and finally a hint of cat piss.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium, decent carbonation, and a tad fluffy.
Overall, I am pleasantly surprised that a single hop Nelson can present a surprising amount of nuance for this hop.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a nice semi-transparent orange with white head. Good carbonation.

Nose: Initial thought is dry with fruity candy (almost jolly rancher), slight citrus peel, apricot, a nice floral note, and a distant mint leaf smell.

Taste: Super smooth. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Just the right balance. Definitely some citrus peel, hop bitterness, mild fruit influence, leather, hay, dirt, and unripe plum. Granny Smith apples. This is really smooth and fairly easy on the palate. Nothing screams too loud. It's a good one to sip and relax. The alcohol is detectable on the taste, but not off-putting. This is definitely a nice change.

Mouthfeel and overall: Mouthfeel is fairly light and, as mentioned, the alcohol does come through. The aftertaste is more bitter than sweet. Overall, I really like this one. It's somewhat mellow, but assertive.

Poured from a 16oz can stamped "7/08/21 HAIRY FEET" to a Nonic at fridge temp.
A clear gold body sits below an aggressive pure white head that laces well.
The aroma is beautiful. Nelson hops lend a unique a distinct aroma. Grassy and not too dank, some melon, some peach.
Taste is even hoppier, but with NS hop characteristics of being bitter, yet smooth. However the alcohol is a little strong on the finish. I know its a double, but some hide it well.
Mouthfeel is smooth but it could use a little more carbonation.
I know I sounded harsh above on some points, but this is still a really good beer.

Very nice golden color, some really nice haze, with a foamy white head. Aromas of white wine, dank citrus , and stone fruit.

The taste leads with the dank citrus and features dry white wine flavors and stone fruit on the finish. Mouthfeel is dry and substantial. An excellent, flavorful DIPA that I’m glad I had the opportunity to try.

I attended the Beer Advocate IPA Beer Fest ... There were lots of great beers and brewers there, but this one stood out to me as my likely favorite. Exceptional in every regard ... Thumbs up.

On-tap at the brewery. Really cool location inside a repurposed warehouse that now housed several vendors and small businesses. Decided to get a glass of this because they didn’t have it in cans. Damn good DIPA! More on the West Coast side of the style. Filtered, crisp, clean, and super resinous. IBUs are up there which is a pleasant change from the endless NEIPAs!

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a half finger of head leaving behind decent lacing. The color is a little odd, almost offputting when considering other dipa's. However, the aroma is subtle and floral. The taste is where this thing shines. Stonefruit and a subtle sweetness that pleases. No booze notes. The flavor has been refined to this point with thoughtfulness. Very nice beer.
