On tap at Pizzetta. Pours a pitch black color with very little head. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, vanilla, and coffee. The taste is coffee and roasted malts with some hints of vanilla. Lots of char and earthy flavor. Bittersweet dark chocolate at the finish with more charcoal. Somewhat smokey. Medium bodied with very little carbonation. Overall, solid beer.

Great coffee, espresso aroma and taste. Minimal head and lacing. Very light carbonation and a bit thin on mouthfeel.

Beautiful black brew topped by a creamy tan head. Perfect retention.
Coffee and roasted barley dominate the aroma. A touch of vanilla tries to sneak through.
Very roasty, with nice coffee and dark cacao notes.
Big beer, but punches well below its ABV.

Poured from a growler purchased from the Brewery on June 27th. Very good carbonation with some good hang time on the head. Imperial? at 7.5% ABV, probably a reach but it is on the high side of the style. Pours dark with definite heavy roasted smell. Pretty well balanced with good flavor. Wish they did more of this kind of stuff.

Had on tap at the brewery on June 26th. Labelled there as an imperial porter, I think this one may be a bit too light to get that distinction. Poured super dark with a thin brown head. Smells very sweet with some of that roasty character coming through. Great flavor here, instant coffee first with some overall sweetness throughout. Finishes a touch burnt, but not too much. Easy going body. Definitely tastes and drinks like a porter. Well done overall.
