Pours clear, gold in color with minimal head. Taste is grapefruit rind, orange, and light lemon. Dry, medium bodied, bitter with moderate carbonation. I prefer other beers from the brewery but this is good.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a light golden body with very nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit including apricot, peach, orange and mango. Taste follows superbly, cleanly, and smoothly. This is one very well balanced DIPA. Very nice feel with very nice finish. Overall, this is a winner from Stonington, CT!

On-tap 1/18/2017 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub in Pawtucket, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and fruity citrus. Then a strong floral hops bitterness quickly follows. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid 2IPA to drink for a long time.

A: pours a fine-bubbled inch-thick head over a translucent golden beer.
S: white grapes, pineapple, melon. the hops overpower any malt nose for me
T: very bitter, pine notes mingle with the fruity accents i picked up on the nose. the finish is long and tastes like grapefruit predominantly for me.
M: a soft mouthfeel with very slight carbonation and a dry finish
O: a nice dry piney/fruity DIPA that reminds me of hobbit juice in its vinous character. This is one of their best DIPAs in my book.

From a growler poured at the brewery.
Bursting with tropical fruit flavors of mango, pineapple and passion fruit this bone dry take on the style lets the Zythos, Chinook and Falconer's Flight hops shine but what I like most is the hint of maltiness in this DIPA - different!
