A: pours a fine-bubbled inch-thick head over a translucent golden beer.
S: white grapes, pineapple, melon. the hops overpower any malt nose for me
T: very bitter, pine notes mingle with the fruity accents i picked up on the nose. the finish is long and tastes like grapefruit predominantly for me.
M: a soft mouthfeel with very slight carbonation and a dry finish
O: a nice dry piney/fruity DIPA that reminds me of hobbit juice in its vinous character. This is one of their best DIPAs in my book.

From a growler poured at the brewery.

Bursting with tropical fruit flavors of mango, pineapple and passion fruit this bone dry take on the style lets the Zythos, Chinook and Falconer's Flight hops shine but what I like most is the hint of maltiness in this DIPA - different!

Growler from the source. Pours a translucent golden yellow color with a half inch of head. Some lacing. Great aroma. Smells of pineapple, mango, and sweet citrus and tropical fruits. The taste is bitter orange peel, grapefruit, and some floral hop notes. Dry and bitter. Bitter citrus peel at the end with some sweetness. Mouthfeel is somewhat light. Very drinkable. Not an overwhelming alcohol presence either. This one rivals their Black Ipa Anomaly as their best beer. Overall, great Imperial Ipa that I need to get more of.
