Grove Stand was one of the first beers we released that was hop forward and decidedly lower in bitterness. We started with a clean malt bill, including a hefty addition of wheat, and then layered the beer with juicy Ahtanum and Zythos hops. Grove Stand Double IPA provides notes of fresh squeezed orange juice and floral citrus groves. Keep cold and enjoy fresh!

Three finger dense foamy off white foam cap , great retention , resides over a clear dark orange amber liquid with streams of active carbonation , spotty lacings , reduces to a foamy island
Aroma is orange citrus , wheat
Taste is orange citrus , wheat
Medium sudsing , gentle hop bite nibbles on the tongue, bit of booze in this 9.2 abv brew

Like a lot of other reviews noted, this delivers a more well-rounded, very good to excellent WCIPA. Granted, it's not listed as an NEIPA, but I went in expecting a modicum of juice.
Marmalade x lighter honey apricot colored. An extremely beige banana cream head gave great contrast.
Mostly sap, wood, resin, floral spice and pine. Decent amount of malt. Not an overwhelming fresh-squeezed juice aroma, but rather citrus zest and peel. Asian pear green tea aroma, and once again pretty floral in flavor. Spicy, hop bitterness, red grapefruit with a sappy and caramel malt background.
Nothing really yells 'fresh squeezed' in this beer. Feel is a bit boozy and alcoholic although the biscuit, caramel presence is notable.
Although it didn't live up to its name the beer is still enjoyable.

A: The beer is crystal clear amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a thin film of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of tangerines are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of tangerines along with notes of grapefruit and hints of pine, the latter of which are most noticeable in the finish. There is a moderate amount of carbonation.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the aromas and flavors of tangerines in this IPA but the alcohol was a bit noticeable in the taste, which detracted somewhat from its drinkability.

Poured from a 16oz can packaged on 7/25/19.
Fairly clear gold body, topped with a two finger white head that fades quickly.
Hoppy, alcohol nose. Taste follows. My main complaint is a pretty prominent alcohol note.
I have really loved previous Beer'd offerings, but this ones not for me.

Appearance – Thin head on a clear deep yellow body.
Aroma – Faint citrus, nowhere near what the name leads one to believe.
Taste – Light, crisp, resinous pine flavor, floral and citrus follow. But citrus should have lead.
Mouthfeel – Light and crisp, easy drinking.
Overall – A good DIPA but the name is misleading.
