64oz growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy burnt orange color with a half inch of head. Tons of lacing. Nice aroma of tropical and citrus fruits. Pineapple, grapefruit, and tangerine. Some sweet malts as well. Flavors of orange and tangerine, pineapple, honey, sweet malts, and floral hops. Slightly boozey. Hints of grapefruit. Floral bitterness at the end with some more pineapple. Lots of carbonation with a bit of an oily and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is probably their booziest beer to date and its another solid Imperial IPA from Beer'd.

Beautiful bright yellow/orange brew, slightly cloudy. Small delayed head, decent lacing and retention.

Bright hop nose with tropical fruit and some biscuity maltiness; some alcohol, as well. Maybe a hint of rind, but mostly sweet, non-citrus fruit.

Extremely sweet: pineapple and mango come to mind. Huge malt presence, firming up as the beer warms: biscuit, some light caramel, but primarily felt through the feel.

A little too syrupy of a feel. However, that's my only complaint: medium overall, with no unpleasant aftertaste, and absolutely no burn, sting, or hint of the ABV.

This is an interesting DIPA that's worth trying. I don't like it as much as their previous DIPA, Realization. It's one of the most fruit-forward IPAs I've ever had, though, with a heavy emphasis on tropical rather than citrus fruit. The hops are really present in flavoring, rather than bitterness. If you're swinging by SE CT, give it a try, as well as Beer'd's other brews.
