This is a big liquor store with a large selection of about everything, including beer. I don't think many college kids buy the rare stuff because all they probably want to get are 30-packs of macros. I found some limited edition stuff like Rogue's Morimoto Imperial Pilsner that probably would have been sold out by now at other liquor stores in Denver.

They have good amount of coolers, probably 40+, and you are free to walk around behind the cooler looking for beers. Good selection of US, German, local microbrews, but their Belgium section was really small.

The best thing I love about this place is the build your own 6-pack. 20% off for every 6 12oz. bottles, and nearly everything you can stick in the 6-pack. Good thing because I'm not sure if I really needed 6 Grolsch Amber Ales(heard it was a good Alt). They also had a bunch on warm shelving, but worried me on how long the stuff has been sitting there. There were more germans sitting in the cooler so it made me feel more comfortable buying those.

The organization is good for everything that comes in a 4-pack or higher. The 22oz bombers or the 750's are a big unorganized and hard to find. I could probably walk around looking at everything for 10 minutes and find more hidden stuff elsewhere.

While I was there the entire time, no one was around to help, nor did anyone ask me if I needed help. I wonder if there is a beer manager. I never called for one because I know what to look for, but it would have been better if someone knowledgeable was walking around.

The prices are good. The discount on the 6-pack is great. Most of the other beers are about average, or maybe 50 cents to $1 more than other liquor stores.

I'd definitely come back, just because the singles selection is huge. Great for me, especially because I like to get something I've never tried before, but don't want to get 6 because I know its going to be crappy. (1,920 characters)

One of the best stores in CO, hands down! The building from the outside is not very attractive, but the selection and staff make it a must stop. Every CO brew you could ever imagine. A very large selection of packaged beer with an unbelievable single and bomber section. Lots of Belgium and Import specialties, rare bottles, etc. The beer manager helps me out a lot and knows his stuff. They recently put up a "rare" beer case with specialty bottles on display. Recently grabbed RR Temptation, Pliny the Elder, 2012 Struise Pannepot, FW Velvet Merkin, Almanac Dogpatch Strawberry, Crooked Stave Origins, and Bruery Sucre Bourbon Barrel. Awesome store! (653 characters)

Just recently had the privilege of visiting Liquor Mart. The beer department could not be more knowledgeable (and attractive I might add! The beer dept. is filled with studs!) or offer a better selection. This place is pure perfection and heaven in the form of a liquor store.
HIGHLY recommended if you're into good prices, great selection and sexy beer department employees. (375 characters)

REcently i moved out of Boulder, but I used to live right by Liquor Mart. This store literally has anything in it that you could ever need, but you should be ready to pay a little bit extra for the convienance. However, the staff can at times be rude and unhelpful. I was at this store once with a friend of mine who aditted to having beer or two before we arrived and we were turned away at the register. We politely agreed to leave, and a man wiht a pony tail still grabbed my friend by his arm and fo4rced him out. I know the industry, and worked in a liquor store on the other side of town at the time and found this to be completely unacceptable. I havnt been back since. (676 characters)

Stopped by after a half day of hiking near Boulder.
This looks like your basic mega-liquor-mart, but happens to have a fantastic singles selection. A whole row of single beers, both 12oz and bombers. Lots of local and regional stuff. An OK European selection as well. Very impressive for an out-of-towner, with lots of Colorado and West Coast representation. An employee came over and helped me pick out a couple local options.

Overall this places isn't just focused on beer, there were a lot of people buying liquor and cases of Bud Light. But they do have a fantastic/huge selection and the employee I talked to knew his stuff. Certainly worth a stop if you're in the Denver/Boulder area. (691 characters)

One of the best things about Boulder. Very nice selection of 6 packs, bombers, and the best build your own 6 pack selection that I have come across in the state. If they carry the beer it is probably available as a single, just awesome IMO. And their beer selection is complete. Good chance that if the beer is carried in the market they will carry it. The building is older, not too large, but organized nicely. Service is fine, generally you need help you have to ask for it and seek it but the help is there to be found. Reasonably priced, on par with market prcies imo. My big complaint is that they don't have a Denver location. (633 characters)
