Mostly clear and light gold colored body; nice carbonation; decent head, fluffy and sticky. Pine and floral hop notes; a tad grassy; sweet with some orange. The taste starts a with a nice bread crust and citrus combination; lemon bread; a nice hop bitterness build from mid-point through the finish. Medium body; crisp and prickly on the palate; mostly dry mouthfeel overall.
A pretty good double IPA, nothing earthshaking but readily enjoyable.

A nice imperial IPA but I would have loved more hoppiness and balance with the malt. Pours a smooth, deeper golden color with some fluffy white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of some muddled citrus and floral hops, along with some malt and bread. Tastes of some grapefruit, tangerine and lemon citrus zest hops, as well as some weaker malt, bread and floral hop notes. Smooth, thin, mild mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Although it was easy to drink and the higher ABV was well-hidden, it just didn’t wow me. A little disappointing since this was a new brewery for me (just tried their Raincloud porter recently).

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a semi-hazy bronzed orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lacing speckles the sides nicely. The smell starts off with a sly citrus pulp and rind and slides into a subtle nice malt. The taste was moderately bitter with an ample sweetness of the citrus combining nicely in a sticky fashion. Subtle tobacco rides into the aftertaste and grabs the citrus to slide into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation seems good for the style and for me. Overall, for a DIPA, its a good one, there’ s nothing wrong with it, I could see myself having this again.
