The atmosphere was great, the beers were cheap, you can get a 10 oz Tulip glass for $3 or a 20 oz glass or $5, compare that to a regular bar where bud lights are $5 and this is a no brainer, great place to come and have some beers with your mates or bring a date. It fills up quickly so it can be hard to find a spot, and there is no food menu, but you can bring your own.

Quality- The beer we tried was not that great. They were all okay, but each had a little something wrong with them, off the several beers we tried there wasnt one that I had that I would have wanted to order again. My friend even said that one of the beers, the Session IPA, tasted like BO. The up side is that they always have new beers, so there will always be something new to try. They are a relatively new place and I'm sure they are getting the kinks out, I saw potential in the beer offerings, I just wish they would tone down the beers and offer a more classics. For example, I dont want a "Toasted Hemp Brown Ale", I just want a good old Brown Ale.

The mediocracy of the beer is all relative though, because it is cheap, which is always good. I dont want to leave an doubts, in terms of quality of beer to price this place deserves an A.

Have gone to DM quite a few times since opening which means I must like it. It's usually very busy and tough to get a seat. Mostly a younger crowd. You have to stand in line if you don't have a seat at the bar. Beer is usually above average with something always very good.

I love this place so much. It has a very manly atmosphere, cool people to talk to, and most importantly, excellent beer. The Chocolate Milk Stout is always fantastic. My only issue is the past couple times I have gone, whatever they had on Nitro has been tapped out. Get there early.

A nice cozy pub environment, nice service, and a refreshing variety of styles on tap (about 8-10 I think). I sampled a few brews before settling on their chocolate milk stout, which was great. The others I tried (PB porter and Belgian Strong) seemed OK or good but I guess I expected more. They serve either a smaller tulip size (must be about 10 oz) or a full pint in a traditional glass - I love having this option!

One of the best of the relatively new breweries in the Twin Cities, situated in Northeast Minneapolis, the epicenter of the movement. Good variety of styles, which range from typical to ambitious. Occasional cask-conditioned beers available. If they have it on tap, try the excellent and unusual Peanut-butter Porter. Their approach is smaller batches of experimental beers, rather than the typical, never-changing lineup.

Place to get great beer that you can't get anywhere else. Really the only problem is that there's not enough seating for how popular it is. Sometimes the line to get in goes out the door. If the only place that I can get your beer is directly from you, you should have enough seating to accommodate. That said, they have incredible beer and it's a fun little place. Be prepared to wait and not be able to hear your friends once you find a spot to sit.

University nearby. Not far from other new bars and Fair State. Drinkable beer though on the sweet side.

this place came highly recommended by all the locals we talked to, it seems its a favorite on the scene here, and i can see why. they had a cool metropolitan feel, neat old building, coffee shop vibe, maybe ten or so beers pouring. they had a caraway porter on cask that was among my favorite beers from the whole trip, but they also had a rooibos tea red that was amazing, and a really good chocolate stout. i had nothing that was bad, a few less creative selections, but it seemed like there was something for everyone, and it was a diverse menu. the brewing equipment was all copper clad and beautiful, clean, and in work when we were there. the service was fine, i mean, they were absolutely packed, so they were stressed out, but friendly and knowledgeable. tasty food truck out front. i have never had to wait for people to leave to be allowed into a brewery before, i thought that was comical, but also cool for them, seeing how busy they were. the beer was great and the overall experience was a cool one. lots of fun, i hope to be back next time i make it up to the twin cities. that caraway porter was from heaven.

Awesome place with a great atmosphere. Chocolate milk stout and varieties are incredible! Gets packed rather often and thus service is a bit harder to get attention from but it's worth the wait.

One of the best, if not the best breweries in MN. Great place. Usually great beer selection. They just acquired more space which should allow them to make more beer to keep up with demand. Rob makes killer beer. Period.
