I thought overall this was a solid coffee stout. The smell was great, and the appearance is over the top. However, I didn't really like the chile but its a small trade off for such a good beer. I think its much better on tap than in bottle. Had both.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Pours a coffee black, with minimal tan head which recedes quickly to a ring. Decent retention for what’s there, but no lacing.
S: Vanilla-infused chocolate candy is the dominant flavor, along with tobacco, a hint of cinnamon and coffee in the background.
T: Vanilla bean and rich milk chocolate, moderate amount of dark roast coffee, a little sweet red chili on the back end, with a long chocolate milk finish.
M: Full bodied, bordering on thick, with light but sharp carbonation. Alcohol is mostly well hidden.
O: I don’t get a lot of rum per se, but this is tasty nonetheless. Good, rich chocolate and vanilla flavors.
