12 oz bottle no wax.
Got this for $8.50 at the local store about a month ago.

a- Pours a super dark black. Brown head that quickly disappears into a foam ring. 3.5/5

s- Super fudge with a bold coffee presence. Hints of Rum, carmel and vanilla blend together. The nose has loads of chocolate. One of the best smelling beers I have ever had. 4.5/5

t- Waves of coffee and chocolate coat the tongue, and open up to more vanilla and carmel flavors as it sits on the palate. Very bold, yet nuanced and balanced. The alcohol warmth blends with the chili heat in the throat with a noticeable lingering warmth 4.75/5

m- This is definitely a big bodied beer. The nice thick body complements the style perfectly. Low carbonation as you would expect 4.25/5

o-This is a fantastic beer. I would have to say that this is the best stout I have ever had. This stout has everything- A big nose that has a lot of complexity, big flavors that are balanced perfectly and perfect mouthfeel.I love how the chills hide the alcohol heat in the throat and have the lasting heat. Really lovely beer. Something you kind of have to drink on an empty stomach or half a bottle at a time. It is a meal in itself. I would recommend this, and personally I would pay up to $12 a bottle for it. IT is just that good. Must try. 4.75/5

OH MY! What an offering! From a bottle that was handed out like some sort of secret stash
from The Party Source in KY, this imperial stout pours a thick black midnight with little to no
head. The nose is HUGE and complex. Rum mingles with coconut, chocolate, coffee, and of
all things chili peppers mixed with tones of heavy alcohol. Flavors are outstanding. Chocolate
and coffee flavors to the fore, coconut and rum to the aft, port and starboard show heavy
sweet malts and deep roasted grains. Chili peppers shine through on the aftertaste giving an
added warmth to the alcohol heat. An exceptional beer and one worth aging a few years if at
all possible. Very nice. Contributes to words like "arrgghh" and looking for "booty"....that is
IF she has more than one, then your treasure is found. Plunder time!

Fall 2014 release. Drank after barrel aged boris oatmeal stout, which was excellent. This is even better. Deep brown-black with a dark tan 1/4" head if poured vigorously. Smells like cane sugar, bourbon, a little dark rye bread. Tastes as it smells with all noted ingredients expertly blended: cacao nibs, vanilla bean, chiles, aged in rum barrels. Superb!
