Thanks Johnniiee. Yes, I heard there are infected batches of this, but somehow I lucked out, here's the rest.
Considering the old ale style, this was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a murky to cloudy brown color with a modestly dissipating finger's worth of white foamy head that barely left any lace.
The aroma had some sour "Brett" characters flowing over some nutty to caramel to biscuit-like notes. Light grassy to vinous notes balance in underneath. Light cherry flesh sweetness and tart to sour skin quality.
The flavor was a blend of sour to malty sweet painting a picture of a nice aftertaste between malts and sour features.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Vinous to cherry tart/skin-like abrasiveness came in to pull back some of the smoothness of a normal old ale. Carbonation felt low, but this is an older bottle (though I don't see the date anywhere). ABV felt a bit under then projected, but that didn't bother me too much. Semi-sour to underscored malty finish.
Overall, it's good as a creative take by Prairie on a "barrel-aged" old ale. I can tell that this isn't a beer for a lot of people, but I could see myself coming back to this.

Not sure if this was bottled with Brett, but that might be the case based on my experience. Opened the bottle and half the contents gushed out immediately...

Ruddy and muddy brown pour, minimal if any head. Aroma was old ale caramel, alcohol and wet wood.
Taste was boozy toffee, caramel, not overly sweet nor dry. Earthy tobacco, raisin, wood. Somewhat complex, no bad flavors, definitely fits the bill as an old ale. Doesn't have Christmas spice rack flavorings, just an old school old ale.

Bottle cellared for a year. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a tan head that laces the glass. Smell is sweet, raisiny, and alcohol. Taste is malts, raisins, a bit of tartness, and oak. It has a good amount of carbonation and thickness to the feel. Overall it's a very well done old ale and the barrel aging gives it a good complexity. Not having it fresh, I don't know what effect cellaring had on the beer. I'd look for this beer again if it became available.

: Pours dark chestnut crowned by a persistent 2” creamy tan foam collar with a very fine bead. S: Prune, dark malts, some dark sugars, spice T: Starts creamy, foamy fruity and then finishes with a dry, very long lingering complex layering of malt loaf and caramel flavors laced with some alcohol heat. The dark sugars, some traces of anise to cola, a dash of pepper and a little alcohol dominate the finish and the aftertaste. F: A medium body leaning to saftig, very creamy, above average carbonation. O: A big, tasty, complex old ale.
