Wow. Wow... If Mount Pompeii erupted with chocolate and some Italian poured it into a glass, this would be it. I caught a whiff of this ecstasy as my main man plopped it on the bar two feet away. Again, wow...
Like Bach conducting a concerto, this bad sucker is rolling on all levels. Mouthfeel is a tad thin like a Russian doing a triple axle for gold, but it's still solid.

Pours very little tan head. Color is a dark caramel brown.
Flavor profile: Rich dark chocolate. Caramel malts. Molasses and raisins. Dark fruits. Some oak and bourbon flavors. The chili peppers are kind of muted here. The vanilla does show, however. Tons of roasted and burnt alts.
Mouthfeel: Roasted/burnt. Full bodied. Low to medium carbonation. Ends dry.
Overall, I wasn't that impressed with this one. It was too burnt for me. Barrel flavors didn't show very much either.
