Hits all registers top of the charts. Beautiful dark mocha head atop the black viscous brew. Smells of fig, cocoa, espresso.

Intense impy stout flavor, peppery notes, green and earthy. Long finish of warming alcohol play well with bittersweet chocolate and espresso.

Outstanding!

Revisiting a 2019 vintage. Green pepper emerging, chilies really becoming more pronounced. Not too much oxidation or lingering heat, but the chocolate component is nice; overall holding up well.

I’m a big fan of imperial stouts, especially bourbon barrel aged. I’ve had a number of Prairie Ale’s stouts, and some Evil Twin stouts.
Not my style when it comes to stout. Weird flavor profile- the chiles seem to affect the balance. Too much of a Chile aroma and aftertaste.

The MF is smooth, but I was looking for a creamier MF.
Not much bitterness in the finish.
Brewed well. Not a favorite approach to stout for me.

Wow.. what a beer. Really balanced for how complex the overall profile is.

*Poured into a Teku glass from a 12oz bottle*

This beer poured out a very dark brown, almost pitch black. It didn't have much of a head at all, but left a nice dark khaki lacing around my glass.

The aroma on this was very similar to Bomb! with some minor differences. I found that the chilies used in this were the most dominating aroma, followed by coffee and cacao. These aromas were then followed by a slightly acidic coffee note in the back-end with notes of vanilla and caramel.

I was definitely able to taste the base of Even More Jesus in this, but I thought that it overall reminded me more of Bomb. The taste followed the nose, giving me all of the spiced flavors of Bomb, but the base of EMJ followed the notes of coffee, vanilla, and chilies giving me lots of dark chocolate, licorice, and a touch of dark caramel sweetness. I found that as this warms up, there was a bit of a medicinal/herbal taste to this.

Like EMJ, the feel on this was viscous, thick, fudgy, and full-bodied. This had some moderate amount of carbonation to it, and was extremely easy to drink for the ABV. The only thing was I didn't like about this was the long and lingering bitter aftertaste on this. But other than that, the feel on this was very nice.

Poured from a bottle - pours black as night with minimal chocolate milk head leaving a ring of tiny bubbles and not much else. Nose is muted roasty malt, maybe a hint of chocolate and some faint chili aroma. Taste follows more or less with some coffee, chocolate and chili stepping up a bit. Seems like a diluted version of "even more jesus" with chili's added.
