Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops.

500ml bottle purchased at my local bottle shop for $8.99. Like most Prairie bottles, it's a little pricey.
Poured into my Prairie Teku, cloudy opaque yellow with a fluffy white head that foams over the top of my glass and quickly recedes. The mosaic hop hits you up front with some nice fruit and floral notes on the nose. Tastes just like a light IPA with a very slight sour on the finish. For my fellow Houstonians, I can explain it like a Yellow Rose with a very slight sour after taste.
Overall, a very solid beer that I could defiantly see myself drinking outdoors in the summer heat, however at $8.99 per 500ml, I doubt I'll be doing so. This drinks like a beer that should be packaged in a four pack or even a six pack for the price of this single. As much as I love Prairies product, their prices are slowly pushing me away.

A fingers worth of active pillowy pure white froth with decent retention.... Color is a vibrant light gold... Big vibrant funky fruity nose highlighted by citrus and melon - truly one of a kind... Nose holds true on the palate... On the lighter side of medium bodied with vibrant carbonation... Love this... Completely unique and highly memorable...

Poured from a can into a tulip.
Pours a shimmering hazed light gold with excellent head and enduring lacing.
The aromas are special and varied. Citrus (lemon), funk (barnyard brett), yeast (white pepper).
The flavors are all over the map and in a good way. Apple cider/cider vinegar, white grape, white wine, white pepper, cork, citrus, pineapple, faint grass, earth, and booze. At the very finish, some reflexive rebound honey sweetness.
Medium bodied with great carbonation and a nearly crisp drying finish.
Pretty solid sour. I hate to give flat "4.25's" across the board, but that's what it is. A just shy of superb brew. A little more aroma, flavor, and carbonation would have put this one in legendary company.

To the point.
Clear golden colour with a one finger head
The mosaic brings its whole fruity character in this tart ale. Tutti Frutti, very refreshing and balanced.
Very well done.

Funky, leathery, citrusy, tropical pineapple, bready crackery caramelized malts, some dusty hay, straw, barnyardy farmhouse, with dank earthy herbal resinous pine

Poured from 12 oz can into pint glass.
A: Hazy yellow with a finger of solid white head. Good retention with some lacing.
A: Citrus and pineapple with light malt (dinner roll) bringing up the rear. A hint of grass or hay. Nothing obviously "funky" to my nose.
T: Bracing tartness up front, quickly rolling into a nicely balanced body. Hop bitterness is evident but well integrated into the overall profile. Really well put together.
M: Good carbonation and tartness produce a lively, refreshing mouthfeel. Very drinkable.
O: I'm not well versed in sour styles, but by any measure, this is a delicious, well-built beer that manages to be both distinctive and approachable. Maybe my definition of "funky" is different, but I don't find anything weird here. Along with Prairie Standard, this one will make frequent appearances in my fridge.

Can. Killer art. Honestly bought a four pack of these expecting a lager. Nope it’s a tangy taste of taint ;)
Sour nose but the flavor is pretty fantastic. Tart, sour, intense.
But
Then you get this awesome fruity flavor which is further bookended by a really clean, daringly traditional maltiness!
This beer slaps ass!
