Pours a murky light orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, fruit, earth, funk, and acidic aromas. There is a bit of a cooked vegetable aroma that dissipates as the beer warms up. Taste is much the same with sour grain, fruit, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, but there is an odd cooked vegetable aroma that only goes away as the beer warms up.

Serving type: bottle.

My first dry, sour beer.

DRY Champaigne like in color, dryness, and crispness.

Not for everyone. But great to try new things. Definitely for me.

A: Hazy pale yellow with a pure white head. Nice lacing.

S: Smelled like vinegar when I cracked the bottle open but after pouring it, it just smells a citrusy and lemony with a little tartness and funk.

T: Lots of lemon and grapefruit. Sourness but it's definitely not overwhelming. Little bit of interesting funk taste on the finish. Not getting much hop flavor. I keep taking another drink to try and find it but I can't seem to.

M: Medium thick with prickly carbonation.

O: As of writing this review, I've had a couple goses, lambics, and slightly sour fruit beers but this is my first AWA. Not sure where this falls on the sourness scale, but I can definitely see myself drinking a lot more AWAs. I like it a lot.
