Notes/Commercial Description:
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Bottle to hfs sniffer

A: dark honey to amber I color with a small white head that goes away fast but leaves an average size lacing at the top of the glass. It is semi translucent to the point I wouldn't call it cloudy

S: the smell is very yeasty upfront but is distinctly farmhouse like and on target for a saison. You can also definitely tell that it is Belgian, but other then that no more to note.

T: follows the nose as the distinct Belgian yeast is the first thing that comes through in the taste. The barnyard nature of the flavor has a strong presence but it is not overwhelming. Pretty much what I would expect from a standard Belgian saison so well done.

M: this is light and nice and crisp the carbonation helps this crispness that makes the beer very easy to drink though the low abv definitely helps this.

O: well the name of the beer really is best way to describe it. This is about as solid as you can get in terms of a Standard Belgian saison it has the farmhouse distinctive smell and taste with a nice light crisp drinkable feel. I highly recommend this beer and I looking forward to trying more from this OK brewery

Thanks, baconsausage!

Murky, hazy golden straw color. Quickly forming head of white bubbles, but not a persistent one. Spots and smears of stick left down the glass.

As the name of the beer implies, this has a very standard, very straightforward saison aroma--which I like very much. Grain, sweetness, dry hay and grass, earthy notes, and some cracker and cereal. Some initial Band-Aid at cooler temperatures.

The flavor is similar to the aroma: sweet grain, hay and grass, mild pepper and lemon notes, moderate bitterness. Incredibly drinkable.

Medium to fuller in body for the style with moderate carbonation. I suppose I wish the body was a bit more lively.

Very nice, traditional saison.

A - Golden Color. light carbonated head. little tiny bubbles. 2 full inches of head that dissipates quickly. but never fully. a single stream of tiny tiny bubbles come up from the bottom.

S - light citrus. orange, grapefruit.

T - high carbonation. tiny bit of hops. orange and grapefruit. not bitter what so ever.

M - carbonation hits with a small punch. get a tingle on the tongue. Little bit slippery on the tongue.

O - This is really nice. low ABVs make this real drinkable. real light on the tongue. altho the high carbonation makes this bubble in the tummy. so can't have too many. It could be a bit thicker. that being said - i would buy this again.
