Very light lemony, grassy, hoppy nose with a bit of pine and herbal tones. The flavor starts more piney, with some grassy straw and herbal hop notes. As the beer warms or my palate adjusted this began to really open. It became much more fruity with a strong peach flavor. I also caught notes of mango and tangerine but it seemed the peach was more prevalent. Interesting take on a Saison as the hops seemed to compliment the flavor rather well.

Appearance - The beer was a straw yellow color with a foamy white head.
Smell - The farmhouse funk in the aroma is present, but not overwhelming. The citrus from the hops is noticeable.
Taste - Up front one notices the citrus hops which are somewhat muted. The lemon rind of the saison creates a sense of balance. The beer does not have the overwhelming sense of funk, but a like it. The dry after makes for a perfect finish.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is active in this one, and it fits the taste profile nicely.
Overall - I am not a huge saison drinker, but I can definitely appreciate this one.
