Tan head. Little lace left. Color is black.
Flavor profile: A lot of bourbon and whiskey flavors. Oak and vanilla. Toasted marshmallows with a light coconut flavor. Lots of chocolate and caramel. Roasted malts. Maybe some nut flavors (almonds). Molasses.
Mouthfeel: Roasted, smooth, warming. A bit of heat shows, but not much. Full bodied.
Overall, an enjoyable stout, but nothing crazy for a barrel aged beer. Good, but not mind blowing. I'd drink it again, but for the cost, I'd probably rather drink BCS. Too much roast for me.
