On tap at Big Hops in San Antonio, TX.
A - Pours black with one finger of creamydark brown / chocolate head.
S - It's got a nice peppery aroma with some chocolate and roasted malt.
T - Good amount of sweet chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, and pepper. The pepper gives it a nice flavor, with more of a peppery mouthfeel than a peppery taste.
M - Thick and very smooth and creamy. This goes down easy, and the 14% is extremely well hidden. Very easy drinking for a stout of this caliber.
O - This is one great stout. The pepper adds a great other dimension to this, and the smooth creamy mouthfeel combined with the will hidden alcohol make this a fantastic beer.

The bottle label has 13.0% ABV vice 14.0%.
The body appears India ink black with a thin, wispy dark brown head; sediment left in the bottle. Deep and rich aroma of coffee grounds, charred grain, and chocolate. The taste exudes vanilla, cocoa, and sour cherries; boozy; cigarette ash. Heavy bodied; rich and smooth; velvety mouthfeel.
My goodness, what a heavenly, heavy brew! Big, bold, and rich throughout with incredibly robust and earthy dark tones in appearance, aroma, and flavor! Depth and complexity galore and a perfect for RIS/double stout fans. Most definitely a dark ale flavored road-trip in a bottle!
And I love the catfish on the bottle cap (not that that has anything to do with the beer or its taste appeal -- it just looks cool)...
