Yellow waxed 375ml bottle poured into HF stemmed wine glass.

A- Pours a dark black with a half finger of dense dark mocha head that has great retention receding to a flat top leaving some spotty mocha lacing.

S- Espresso, cocoa nibs, hint of vanilla and chili peppers, subtle yeast in the background. Very pleasant aroma however I wish the chilies actually came through slightly more.

T- Creamy chocolate, smooth espresso that adds a decent amount of bitterness, very light chili heat, finishes with some vanilla bean and a little bit of yeast that I've found in other Prarie beers. Very tasty, again I wish the chilies came out a tiny bit more but otherwise very well balanced. The yeast used also detracts a tiny bit from the beer but not as much as in the Noir.

M- Silky smooth, nice carbonation level for style, extremely drinkable for the abv.

O- Prarie Bomb is an awesome beer that uses the adjuncts nicely to create a tasty beer. While I wouldn't say it is quite as good as Hunahpu it is definitely up there with one of the better 12% non-barrel-aged beers that I've had. This is definitely worth trying even if you don't like chili beers.

Enjoyed this beer with some friends. 12 oz. bottle poured into pub glass.
This beer pours as black as used motor oil. Some thin brown lacing hugs the sides of the glass as it goes. The aroma of coffee and roasted malt is present but so is the subtle spice from the pepper. It is not at all overpowering. This is an extremely complex and well crafted beer. The astronomical ABV is not apparent as it is all well balanced with the robust flavors of this brew. I am not a stout drinker normally but I loved this beer!

Whatever you have to do, get this and try this beer!
