Pours a clear golden yellow with minimal head and lacing. Left the last bit in the bottle due to yeast.

On the nose is some citrus, wheat and grain notes. Some peppery scent comes through on the end. A little bit of alcohol.

Taste is a bit piney. Has a bit of wheat taste that settle on the middle of the tongue. Finish is a slight bit funky with a good bit of alcohol. Weird for a beer that is only a bit above 5%.

Mouthfeel is very nice. Great carbonation. Light but not thin at all.

Overall this is a good beer. If you can get your hands on it it's definitely worth the try.

Poured into a Dogfish traditional oversized snifter. Bottleneck says 2035.

A- Pours a hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.

S- Somewhat pungent hop aroma with a bit of musty yeast character.

T- A bit of assertive hop bitterness with a nice earthy quality that melds well with the yeast presence that also produces some fruitiness.

M- Lingering hop bite with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- A great take on a pale ale. Prairie took the style and put their own twist on it. Wish it wasn't so pricey but hey, you pay for what you get, and in this case it's awesomeness.

Really good pale ale. I normally associate this brewery with esoteric mixed styles with unusual fruits added, but this is a very solid pale ale with lots of hop character, but still somewhat low key. Will drink again if I find it.

Copper to gold in color and extremely murky. There's a fingernail of off white covering the majority of the top. Lively aroma of dank grassy, piney hops. I taste a nice blend of piney hops and light malt. The mouth is very light, smooth, and quaffable. There's a lot of flavor and you can drink this all day.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. A great bottle cap. Frontal view of a catfish.

Pours a chill-hazed bronze/amber with a thumb of cream colored head. Never quite clears up, above average lacing & head retention

S: Pineapple, grapefruit & breadyness

T: Grapefruit, a touch of woody hops, breadyness & some pear up front. Apricot mixed with much grapefruit & grapefruit pith, plus a touch of aspirin & just little bit of pineapple, a bit of peppery hops as this warms. Finishes juicy, peppery & citrussy

MF: Medium bodied, subtle carbonation, nicely balanced, juicy

Super easy to drink, somewhat hop forward for the style, but it works. Not as mind-blowing as some of the other beers Prairie makes, but is a solid/welcome addition to the Okie beer scene. This will be in the rotation as long as I can get it
