360 degree top can (pretty cool) poured into a snifter. Pours a beautiful dark brown, barely opaque, with a finger of nice tan head.

Smells great! Chocolate, toffee, leather, and dark fruits. Really inviting nose on this beer, drooling...

Tastes of chocolate, smoke, raisins. Very subtle hop notes, just enough to give it some bite. Surprisingly powerful flavors for a sessionable porter.

Mouthfeel a bit thin, but expected of a low gravity beer. Carbonated properly and has enough heft to be "robust"

Overall a wonderful surprise of a beer. I put this in a mixed sixer when I was in Dallas for work, on a suggestion from a friend. Will buy more when I'm back. Cheers!

A: dark, with a thick creamy off white head. excellent retention and lacing.

S: chocolate, slight coffee, roasted malt, malty sweetness

T: rich chocolate, slight traces of coffee and roasted malt. residual sweetness. very easy to drink. slight piney/grassy hop bite on the finish.

M: creamy, delicious.

O: a solid beer. gets better as its warms.

12 oz can (as pictured) from trip to Dallas.
Pours basically black, with large tan head. Good retention, nice looking lace lines.
Smell of roast malt and some chocolate and a hint of coffee.
Taste has the same chocolate and roasted malts, slightly charred acidity, like a cold coffee at the end.
High amount of carbonation, smooth, medium body. Might be a little on the thin side.
Easy to drink, but not as much flavor or weight as I was expected from their self-proclaimed Robust Porter.

A very enjoyable porter. The blend of roasty and dark malt flavors is real nice, combined with a bit of a sweetness. Very easy to drink. My first encounter with this brewery that I can recall, and I'm more than happy to buy another sixer of this, and try a sixer of something else! Great job. I'm also very happy to see another Texas brewery, another local beer!

Barely carbonated. Faint aroma. Otherwise just good

Good beer. Got a six pack for free from a weeding and am planning on getting more.

L-black with large tan head that has lace all over the glass, Because the wide mouth can started to over flow and I poured it way to fast.
S-roast and chocolate are the aromas i get
T-roasted malts come thru with the chocolate taking the backseat to the roast
F-very carbonated with a smooth yet medium body
O- the things that stood out was the smoothness and the taste. The wide mouth will take me some time to get use too

Fluffy long lasting brown head. Black body lets some slight ruby highlights through. Plenty of lacing is left behind.

Inviting sweet rich chocolate along with some plum fruitiness and roasted malt. Solid flavors for the style.

Body is lighter side of medium with medium carbonation and some light hop bitterness peeking in.

A- Typical foamy head with good lacing followed by a robust chocolate liquid.

S- Sweet Chocolate Plum with plenty of malt and great balance. This beer is balanced and amazing on the nose.

T-Sweet Chocolate plum with a robust malt finish that lingers.

M-Satisfying smooth and refreshing.

O-This beer is everything I expect from a porter with plenty of flavor, power, and balance to make for a great evening.

Very basic porter and the one I happened to try was very fizzy. Rounded and good tasting
