Small white lace. Clear gold body.
Very grainy smell. Smells like split pea soup. The similarity is profound. Or lentils, or stale wheat bread.
Either this glass had split pea soup in it, or it's somehow incorporated into the recipe for this beer. I would be amazed if one of those two statements weren't true. Also, would be amazed if they were. Weird. Mild bitterness, not very complex in the hop department.
It's a pretty decent, if not average beer. Interesting. Worth checking out, but not likely to be a session beer.

Pale gold with a vanishingly brief head.
Aroma of vegetal, grassy hops and doughy pale malt.
Crisp, off-dry and slightly tart, with brisk grassy noble hops over a soft crackery pils malt base. Clean, simple, and refreshing, with no flaws. Very slight hint of sulfur in the background.
Feather-light and almost watery, emphasis here is on drinkability.
Overall, a fine quaffable pilsner. Apparently over-hyped, perhaps owing to its name conflict with the fizzy American swill, but leaving all that aside it's still a quite nice pale lager in its own right.
