Pours out a standard clear golden lager with a smallish short-lived head. Very average appearance, not impressive at all. Smells pretty good though. Saaz hops are obvious in this lively nose. A nice clean, crisp aroma that makes a great impression.
My first thought after tasting is - So this is what Japanese beers are emulating! Czech pilsener is probably the most common "all-malt" beer style in Japan, and some are obviously way better than others. This reminds me of the good ones, and yet the taste is original. Very clean and tasty, superbly balanced. I'm sure this beer would be awesome with any food.
This is easily one of the best macro lagers available. Highly drinkable and easily recommended. The real bud!

Pale gold with a vanishingly brief head.
Aroma of vegetal, grassy hops and doughy pale malt.
Crisp, off-dry and slightly tart, with brisk grassy noble hops over a soft crackery pils malt base. Clean, simple, and refreshing, with no flaws. Very slight hint of sulfur in the background.
Feather-light and almost watery, emphasis here is on drinkability.
Overall, a fine quaffable pilsner. Apparently over-hyped, perhaps owing to its name conflict with the fizzy American swill, but leaving all that aside it's still a quite nice pale lager in its own right.
