Into a pilsener glass, pours the ghostly pale straw color I've come to expect from the style with a steady stream of bubbles feeding the fingers' worth of head on top. Looks just right.
Loads of hay and a touch of the floral/spicy Saaz hops shining through underneath. A touch of sweet malt in the background. OK.
Way too sweet for my liking when it comes to a style that should be used to highlight the native Bohemian hops. It is relatively clean and the malt character isn't offensive, just too pronounced for what it should be.
Not nearly as crisp as I would hope and although it's not bad by any stretch, there are just so many superior options that I wouldn't go out of my way to try it again.

Pale gold with a vanishingly brief head.
Aroma of vegetal, grassy hops and doughy pale malt.
Crisp, off-dry and slightly tart, with brisk grassy noble hops over a soft crackery pils malt base. Clean, simple, and refreshing, with no flaws. Very slight hint of sulfur in the background.
Feather-light and almost watery, emphasis here is on drinkability.
Overall, a fine quaffable pilsner. Apparently over-hyped, perhaps owing to its name conflict with the fizzy American swill, but leaving all that aside it's still a quite nice pale lager in its own right.
